A clear photo or scan works best. Lay the note flat, use natural light, and photograph it straight from above so the handwriting is easy to see. Try to avoid blur, heavy shadows, glare, or photos taken from far away.

The best Kept pieces usually say one thing and say it well. A short note, a signature, a few meaningful words, a little drawing, or a small section from a longer letter. If you’re working from something longer, choose the part you’d most want to keep.
what to expect
Each piece is stitched to order. I’ll stay as close to the original handwriting as I can, but thread on canvas will never be a pixel-perfect copy of pen on paper. Small variations are part of the process — and part of what makes each piece its own.

Each Kept Piece is made to order with care and craft. Please allow about 2–3 weeks before shipment. Once it’s on the way, you’ll receive tracking by email.
